# How to change the Secretary during a meeting?

*The meeting Secretary holds the crucial responsibility to capture the important information shared during the meeting and relate the actions agreed on by the circle on Holaspirit. *

The member opening the meeting, either by creating and opening it straight away or opening a scheduled meeting, is set as **Secretary** by default.

* Click on the profile icon next to Secretary
* Select the profile icon of the member that will take over (only the members attending the meeting on Holaspirit will show)

* You can change the Secretary as many times as necessary
* Only decision-maker members can be Secretary during the meeting
