# How to enable Translation Add-on?

Unlock the world of information with our translation add-on, designed to make navigating easy and intuitive for everyone, regardless of language barriers. The tool seamlessly translates role&circle content as well as search results, ensuring that knowledge is accessible to all members.

# What content is translated?

The Translation Add-on allows you to **automatically translate your organization's content** with one click into your preferred language(s). The translated generated [content can be reviewed by users](https://help.holaspirit.com/en/article/how-to-use-translation-add-on-1iumyap/). This includes roles and circles content:

* Name
* Purpose
* Domains
* Accountabilities

The **translated content is also available** when **looking for results** with the **search function.**

Any new content added by members is automatically translated in all the chosen languages, including when:

* New role/circle is created
* Role/circle is updated

Translating your organization's roles and circles into multiple languages will **maximize understanding** of roles and circles as a whole and improve the **clarity** on Purpose, Domains, Accountabilities, and Policies. Members of the organization can get the information in their **native language,** thus **removing potential language barriers**.

# What are the languages available?

Holaspirit supports automatic translations for 50 languages based on [SYSTRAN](https://www.systransoft.com/) API (EU):

* **Western Europe**: Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Icelandic, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Welsh.
* **Eastern Europe:** Albanian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech Estonian, Georgian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Ukrainian.
* **Middle East & Africa:** Arabic, Dari, Persian, Hebrew, Pashto, Somali, Swahili, Tajik, Turkish, Urdu.
* **Asia:** Bengali, Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Punjabi, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai, Vietnamese.
* **North America:** American English, Canadian English, Canadian French.
* **South America:** Brazilian Portuguese.

# How to enable the add-on?

👤 You need to be an **Admin** to enable Translation Add-on.

### Activate the add-on

Go to Translation tab in Administration Settings and switch the toggle to enable it.

### Translate roles and circles names

Switch the toggle button to activate role and circle names. The translated names will also be visible on your organisation chart.

### Appoint translators

Click on **Add translator** button to choose members to validate the automatic translations. You can appoint to **5 translators.**

### Choose translated languages

Click on **Add language** button to choose the languages you want your content to be translated to. When set up, **all role and circle content will be automatically translated** for your organization. It can take a few minute to synchronize.
