Introducing: Experimental features
Love trying new features? Want to provide feedback and help make Holaspirit even better? Join our testing community! ๐
๐ Note: When 'Experiment features' is enabled, your workspace may be less stable than the features officially released to the public. This means the app may crash, or some features might not work in the best way but, don't worry, it won't affect your organization.
In the world of testing new features, there are two types of experiments: Member Experiments and Organization Experiments. Both aim to help you explore new features, but they work a little differently.
Member Experiments let users enable or disable features on their own, giving everyone a chance to test things at a personal level. This provides flexibility and control, making it easy for individual users to explore new functionalities.
Organization Experiments, on the other hand, are managed by admins and can be activated for the whole organization. This approach ensures everyone experiences the same features at the same time, making it easier to collect feedback and see how the feature performs across a larger group.
For Admins:
Go to the Experimental Features section in the Admin panel.
Activate Organization Experiments for everyone in the organization.
Decide if users can turn off the feature or if it should be enabled for all.

For Users:
Visit My Experiments to see the available features.
Turn on or off individual experiments (if allowed).
For Organization Experiments that canโt be disabled, youโll see an explanation.

This new way of managing experiments makes it easier to test, gather feedback, and roll out new features to everyone in the organization in a smooth and organized way!
You can easily spot the features available for testing on Holaspirit with the Experimental features button is visible.
It will show with a green ON if it's enabled...

...or with a red OFF if it's disabled.

Click on it at any time to enable or disable the feature.
You can always refer to the Experiments Lab article to learn more about the features you can try out. We make sure to keep it up to date!
It very simply, either click on the Experimental features button or access is from your profile icon. Once the pop-up window opens, click on Share feedback.

What happens to my feedback?

The beta program has been replaced by Experiments. It ultimately works the same way, except that it's now easier and faster to test new features before they're launched.
If you have questions or need guidance, you can get in touch with our Support team on the online assistance chat, we're here to help.
It depends on the features themselves and on the feedback we receive from our users. Some improvements and changes might require more discussion than others!
When new features and improvements are released on the platform, we let you know though the Need help? menu. Watch out for the notification dot, and access our release note to learn about what's new on Holaspirit!
