Definition of Circle Admin

Circle Admins are members of a circle who hold additional rights inside the circle.

Among them:

  • He/she can manage the circle settings including Assignation, Elected Roles and Governance settings (open or consent mode).

  • He/she can manage the privacy settings of Documents, Projects, Actions and Meeting reports of the circle.

  • He/she can activate the integration of other project management and communication tools (Trello, Slack, Jira...).


Who can become a group administrator?

Any user (except inactive user) can become Circle Admin.

  • By default, the user who creates the circle automatically becomes a Circle Admin.

  • By default, the role accountable for assignation is automatically a Circle Admin.

  • By default, the role accountable for the link between the parent-circle and the circle is also a Circle Admin.

  • A user must be part of a circle to become Circle Admin.

  • Platform administrators can appoint themselves as admin of all circles.

There is no limit to the number of Circle Admins in a circle. The Circle Admin has the possibility to grant the rights to another member of the circle.

It's easy to identify who are Circle Admins on the circle page in the Members tab. The user avatar is circled in red.
