Align with core Holacracy principles by clearly distinguishing between Actions and Projects. This enhancement supports precise workflow structuring according to the methodology. Empower your team to manage tasks in full alignment with your governance model!

How to enable Projects&Actions setting?

👤 Only platform administrators and users added as Holacracy App administrators have access to these settings.

  • Go to Administration Settings

  • Scroll down to the Add-on section

  • Click on Holacracy at the bottom

  • Click on the toggle button in the Enable 'Holacracy' app section

  • Enable the Projects&Actions setting

Make a distinction between Projects and Actions

With the distinction between Projects and Actions, you can easily spot them on your project boards on Kanban, List, and Hierarchy views. Actions will be part of a project, with the possibility to transform them into a project, move them to another project with the buttons on the left-side menu.

📌 Note: This set up only allows two-level management: Projects and Actions (as their sub-element). It will not be possible to work on multilevel, that is, to add sub-elements to Actions.

Adding Projects and Actions during a meeting

Once the Projects&Actions set up is activated, it is also possible to add them as a result of a tension during a meeting. The meeting Secretary can create next actions and projects, as results to the tension, to hold members accountable and keep things moving!
