Documentation in your organization can work two ways: you can use the Publications app to document content directly on Holaspirit, or attach documents from an external source.
This allows members of your organization to have access to valuable information, all in one workspace.
What documents can be attached?
You can find a dedicated tab called Documents on members, role, and circle pages which gives you access to an overview of attached documents.
👉 Add attachments from your computer, which creates an actual copy in Holaspirit.
👉 Add attachments from Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive to link the document to its initial location. Documents attached with Google Drive and OneDrive can be edited and saved in their initial location and will be automatically be updated on Holaspirit.
👉 Add any kind of link as an attachment to easily access what you need.
If you want to limit access to these documents to only your circle's members only, you can set up privacy settings.
As an Admin, you can prevent users from importing documents from their computer, as explained in this article.
Who can attach a document?
To add, edit or delete an attachment to the circle itself, you need to be a member of the circle above/parent circle.
To add, edit or delete an attachment to the roles within a circle, you need to be a core member of that circle.
How to add an attachment?
Go to the role or circle page
Click on the Documents tab
Click the Add Attachment button and select the appropriate location for your file.
Rename the attachment if needed
Once a document is attached, all members of the organization will have the possibility to click the link and consult the file, unless access is restricted on the original document.
How to edit or delete an attachment?
Click on the 3 dots to the right of the document to edit or delete it.
