Publications evolve the same way the organization and its teams do. That's why easily editing publications is crucial to keep documentation up to date!
Edit and publish a publication
✍️ To update an existing publication, you need to be a member of the circle in which it is published or be invited to collaborate on the publication. Read more
To edit a publication, you need to either for edit a publication or join the edition already opened by another member.
To edit a publication:
Access the Publications app
Go to My publications
Click on the publication of your choice
Click on the blue Edit button to open edition
Join the edition of a publication
From My publications, go to Edition section and click on the publication you would like to edit. Those unpublished publications are marked with the yellow draft button.
📌 Note: When several members are working on the same publication, they can see others' cursors in real time. This means that all members can modify the publication at the same time, working on one common version!
The process of publishing the edited version depends on the decision-making mode applied:
If free mode is applied, members can make changes to the publications of their circle or the ones they've been added to. Simply click Publish in the top right.
If consent mode is applied, publications will require for the circle members' consent before being published. Members can submit the version of the publication they worked on to their circle for approval, either in a meeting or asynchronously through a proposal.
📌 Note: While a publication proposal is submitted, the publications cannot be modified.
Delete a publication
🗑️ To delete a publication, you need to be a member of the circle in which it exists.
To permanently delete a publication:
Access the publication
Click on the three dots in the top right corner
Select Delete publication
If free decision mode is applied on the publication, simply confirm the deletion by clicking on Delete.
If consent decision mode is applied, you'll need your circle's approval to delete the publication. You can submit an asynchronous proposal for approval. To do that, click Submit.
