👉 Inbox and tensions are linked to the Meetings app and included with the Start, Rise, Scale and Enterprise plans. Find out more!
After adding and working on a tension or a proposal, you might want to discuss it with your circle in a meeting. You can easily add you tension or proposal to a meeting's agenda using the Bring to meeting button.
📌 Note: Depending on the wording defined in your organization for Inbox, a tension can also be called "Driver", "Spark" or "Note".
Bring to a scheduled meeting
Planning and scheduling your meetings in advance allows the circle members to prepare and be ready for when the time comes to bring their ideas to the table.
To bring your tension/proposal to a meeting's agenda:
Access the tension or proposal
Click on the Bring to meeting button
If the circle hasn't already been assigned to your tension, select the circle in which it will be processed
Select the type of meeting
Select the date and time the meeting is scheduled
Click Confirm to validate
Your tension/proposal will now show in the selected meeting's agenda. All circle members will be able to see it and prepare their thoughts on the subject.
Bring to the next meeting (not scheduled yet)
Some organizations sometimes prefer to open meetings "on the fly" which can make it difficult for the circle members to anticipate when they might be able to import their tension to a meeting.
If no meeting of the desired type is scheduled for your circle, you can choose for it to be automatically imported to the meeting that will next be scheduled.
To auto-import your tension/proposal to the next scheduled meeting:
Access the tension or proposal
Click on the Bring to meeting button
If the circle hasn't already been assigned to your tension, select the circle in which it will be processed
Select the meeting type
Click Confirm to validate
Until the meeting is scheduled or opened, the tension/proposal will remain visible in its dedicated app (Inbox or Proposals) with the yellow meeting icon. Once the meeting is scheduled or opened, it will disappear from the app and will be added to the meeting's agenda.
